Alta Colina Vineyard is located off Adelaida Road on the westside of Paso Robles in an area noted for producing
premium wine grapes. The vineyard was developed and is managed with a total commitment to maximizing fruit quality. The elevation
varies from 1600 to 1780 feet, with steep North and South facing slopes. Soils are shallow, well drained loam with a high
concentration of fractured shale throughout the growth horizon. There are 31 acres in production, with 15 blocks—each
carefully matched with the optimum rootstock, variety, spacing, trellis, and orientation for the soil in that particular block.
Yields are kept below 2.5 tons/acre.
